How much does a wedding photographer cost in the UK?
There is no single UK wedding-photography price that represents every celebration. Coverage length, team, travel, editing and products can change both the work involved and what you receive.
Coverage and experience
A short ceremony, partial-day package and preparations-to-evening coverage are different briefs. Experience with weddings, particular venues or complex timelines may also influence a photographer’s approach and fee.

Rights and delivery
Ask how many finished images or what deliverable definition is offered, the likely delivery period, and your permission to download, print and share them. Copyright and usage language should be explained rather than assumed.
Compare packages fairly
- Give photographers the same date, locations and timeline.
- Separate optional albums and sessions from essential coverage.
- Check overtime, travel, VAT and payment stages.
- Read cancellation, postponement and replacement arrangements.
- Compare full work and service, not image count alone.
